Meet Ms. Caroline
My name is Caroline Mandel and I own a mobile OT practice for children. As an Occupational Therapist for over 15 years, I have gained invaluable experience across various fields and populations, leading me to find my passion working with children.
My full-time role in the school setting provides me with insight into children when they are at school and how it differs than home. Constantly hearing from families that they have to wait months to start clinic based OT services, I made the choice to provide my services in the home.
Now, as a private practice owner, I have the incredible opportunity to work with children in their homes. I love strategizing with families using their own materials that are already in the home, with a focus on the child’s interests, to develop programs that families can adhere to.
This individualized approach allows me to address specific needs, from accompanying families to sports practices or navigating grocery store trips, ensuring therapy is practical and relevant.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our two daughters, and our two beloved dogs, who inspired the name of my practice. With a blend of humor, care, and compassion, I aim to make a positive impact on every child's life I encounter.
